C.I.M.A. Compagnia Italiana per Macchine ed Autorimesse, was started in 1962 has a garage management firm. It then evolved into a larger company and the limo service was stared with a few Cadillac and Lincoln vehicles that had been imported after the war.
The idea of having someone else driving an exotic car for you, was seen as a bit of a novelty by the fast driving Italians. However tourism was on the up and up, and so many Americans were happy to find chauffer driven limousines in a country that back then was rural and where a Fiat 500 was the lap of luxury.
The Cadillacs and the Lincoln gave way to more luxurious cars, mostly Mercedes and large Lancia sedans. Over the years Cima has become the leading limo service in Rome and in many other Italian cities.
The proprietor is still the same and the original idea of offering the best possible service both to tourists and business men alike, has stayed the same. That original vision has evolved to include the most modern management systems  and the newest quality control procedures. Our fleet is the most varied in the business with cars ranging from the tiny Smart to the luxuriously decadent Bentley Arnage. The bulk of the fleet is made of Mercedes E class and S class, all with full leather interior and climate control.

The fleet in its entirety is renewed every two years, so your will never find yourself in a car that is older than two years.
